The bottom is marked with a star and the letter H. The barrel is marked VP with an eagle and a P proof. The finish is worn where the bands and rear sight were. The barrel has a blue finish but is worn on most places and is turning a plumb color. They have light rust and are a plumb color. The front and middle stock bands are included. You are bidding on a Model 1873 US Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor rod bayonet barrel and the stock bands.
